So just how many sources did RTD steal from to pad out his latest content-lite load
of toss?
Balls a la Star Wars (or Flash Gordon as sprung first to my mind)

An a cameo from Gollum from LOTR
I'm sure there were far more, those were just the most obvious to me in what
amounted to nothing more than a random smattering of ideas with no coherent
storyline to bring them together. I'm trying to wrack my brain about the magical
power of thought bollocks too - I'm sure I've seen that power of belief bringing
someone back (from the dead, but from this episode is pretty much the same thing)
crap too.
Actually should count the other episodes as well since Sound of Drums
had that whole Valiant thing. Could have been ripped off from either
Captain Scarlet or from the SHIELD Heli-Carrier from Marvel Comics. On
top of that there was Hell you could almost put Captain Jack Harkness
in scarlet clothes and be calling him Captain Scarlet.
