I can't help but agree.

I mean, I've really liked most of the new series so far (except "Love
and Monsters") but this was just dreadful. As someone else said, a total
waste of the build up from the last two episodes. What were they
*thinking*? *Were* they thinking?

What a *waste*.

why was it a waste? I thought it was great.

Because we had two excellent dramatic episodes which built up to a
"everybody think happy thoughts and it'll all be OK" moment.

Which translates to "Oh dear. I've written myself into a corner, now
what shall I do?"

I expected something a tad more believable and intelligent based on the
series so far.

Some people expect Who to be something it never has been and never will be.
It's family entertainment and my family loved it.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a long term Who fan who loves both the old and
the new series. I won't stop watching and I hope other people won't
either. But I found this episode deeply disappointing compared to the
ones that preceded it.
