Well that's because of the rubbish scripts she has been given which have
her behaving exactly like Rose. Why don't they get rid of the mother and
the rest of he family instead and then the scripts can concentrate on
Martha for a change.
To be fair Martha`s family haven`t appeared anywhere near as much as I
feared so far. Only 2 of the opening 7 stories have been set on contemporary
earth and even then her family hasn`t been included to an annoying level.
IMO anyway. They certainly haven`t been over-used to the extent Rose`s mum
was. I was a bit miffed about the phone call in "42" at first but it tied in
quite nicely towards the end of that story. I`m guessing we`ll see a lot of
them in Human Nature and possibly the finale though.
How many viewers did 42 get BTW and The Lazarus Experiment?
Both got around 7 and a half million IIRC. "Who" is still the most watched
show on saturday and still featuring highly in the top 20 each week. The AI
figures have remained around the mid to upper 80`s throughout the series.
There`s no crisis or anything.
