If by some reason the rest of season 3 dropped on your door step by
accident (let's say some pre-release DVD's meant for RTD got
re-directed by the postal service)...would you watch them...or would
you force yourself to wait until they were aired by the BBC?

I'm afraid I would have to say I couldn't resist.

Oh I`d watch them without question and have no problem with it.
Legally...if they were addressed to me and came from the proper channels
would I be breaking any law by *watching* them? I know I wouldn`t be
able to sell them on or distribute them amongst friends but I don`t see
the problem with just watching them. I wouldn`t have come by them by
illegal means. As far as I`m aware anyway, I`m quite happy to be proven
wrong ( as the likelihood of the Beeb sending me these DVDs is pretty
slim anyhow! ).

I download BSG and Heroes, I know there are those that would wag their
finger at me and tut tut tut but morally I have no issues with myself. I
just want to watch them as soon as they`re available. I`ve bought both
BSG DVD boxsets and will definately be buying Heroes as soon as it`s
available so they`re getting my money either way.

"Heroes"!

The whole series is out on DVD on August 28th, with loads of extras:

What did you think of the finale then?

I thought it tied everything up very nicely although it didn`t have so
much of the "wow" factor as other episodes have had...until the preview
for next year. Overall though this is the best individual season of a TV
show I`ve seen in about 10 years, I`ll definately be getting the DVD set.

For what it's worth - and hey - probably worth as much as anything anyone
else says - I tend to agree with you. Obviously the "wow" factor was part
of the setup and this being the finale meant it was more of a wrapup... but
what a great programme, eh? It restores my faith in intelligent
sci-fi/fantasy TV...

Although, as far as best (genre) shows of the last ten years go, I still
think Channel 4's "Ultraviolet" is woefully underrated...
