Off Topic - but this has to be the best thing on TV at the moment -
and the best series yet.
Serious crime, wicked humour, and one of the best casts ever
assembled. The scene in which a police task force raid a suspect's
house - followed closely by the suspect pulling up in his car - had me
howling.
"This is mo job for a man on beta-blockers" moans Bolam in hot
pursuit. Nice to see Cole and Waterman reunited as well.

It has to be said that I find New Tricks, along with all the repeats of
Midsomer Murder, Poirot and various other things, all better viewing
than the new Dr Who. Half of this season's DW is still languishing
unwatched on our PVR.
