The 'final Dalek' used advanced cloning technology to
recreate itself. All the Daleks would sound the same but it wouldn't matter.
That's kinda what the Emperor Dalek did before Rose destroyed him.
Sure, in the story he somehow used human DNA to reconstruct his new
Daleks, but I've thought that it would have been a better idea if he
had used his own (pure dalek) DNA instead to clone with, or as a basis
for re-engineering the daleks.
I don't think that's an accurate reading of what the emperor said: he
did *NOT* use human DNA, he just used human biomass. I imagine it
wors much the same way that most cloning techniques do: take a cell,
suck out the DNA that was in there, and insert new DNA. That doesn't
make the Emperor's Daleks any more human than the fact that I ate
chicken for dinner last night makes me poultry.
