He reckons that we have seen Dalek Caan (Khan?) once before.
He thinks the emergence temporal shift took Caan to the early twenty
first century where the depletion of his power cells by the jump left
him vulnerable enough that he ended up in a rich man's collection of
alien artifacts...
Which makes no sense. Because the Dalek in that episode didn't know it
was the last of its kind. Dalek Caan knows that he is the only surviving
Dalek.
My son is only 9.
The theory amused me etc.
It is pretty inventive! Maybe a story writer in the making...
This occurred to me the other day. Feeling very clever and pleased
with myself, I was about to start a thread about it and bask in my own
retcon-genius.
Now I've been beaten to it by a nine year-old. Puts me in my place.
