I didn't think the Daleks were from another dimension. From my
understanding, these were your regular Daleks from our dimension who
had avoided the destruction of the Daleks in the Time War by escaping
to the void between dimensions in their spherical craft, and who have
now returned, causing a rift between dimensions through which the
alternative dimension Cybermen tailgated (although maybe that means
that the Daleks had actually retreated to their dimension, rather than
just the void between dimensions)
.
