maybe ... just maybe ...The Face of Boe can travel through time as well
that would explain him/it being around in the year 200,000 as well as the
year 5 billion

Don't ask why this suddenly occurred to me, but has anyone else picked
up on the flaw in the Doctor's encounter with the Face of Boe in New
Earth? He states that it's impossible for Boe to be millions of years
old, yet he knows himself (from the fact that he was the subject of a
news report in The Long Game, set in the year 200,000) that by that
stage the Face of Boe is well over 4 billion years old, indeed nearly 5
billion. So why does he even ask Boe's age?
Have you also noticed how the 10th Doctor keeps saying "but that's
impossible" over and over again even when its already happened so it
obviously can't be impossible. Must be his new catch phrase.
Phil
At least it's a better phrase than the oft-repeated mantra "Torchwood"...
Incidentally, did you know there's a new show coming, called
"Torchwood"...?
