Are we counting the US Movie Dr.Who as one of his lives...so DT is the 10th
Doctor or 9th?

Purportedly the tenth - it's never specified onscreen (but then, aside
from X Doctors specials, nor were the numbers of previous regenerations
- as far as I know it's never actually been confirmed that the series
began with the First Doctor, so we could theoretically be on 11 or 12).
