Ugh. The Cybermen were (Pre-Attack & Silver Blemish) my faves - and indeed, the last five minutes of cybermayhem were great...

But... what a struggle to get there... Pointless use of Rose's parents (Dull, dull, dull soap opera scenes and those godawful closeups of Billy Piper's huge lips) and a fairly plodding plot... why attack the home of his lead henchman...? Didn't seem quite convincing... What the f**k was the Tight Fit song all about?

What the f**k was it doing in a parallel universe whose technology had gone beyond that kind of stuff in the first place.


Self conscious attempts at creating "catchword" (Delete - groan)... and a "creator" who's a cripple in a wheelchair. Ahem. Where have I seen that before...

It didn't help that I'm suffering from a hangover from last night and truly struggled to stay awake...

Disappointed - especially after last week. Although the last five/ten minutes were great. Strangely, the whole thing lacked any atmosphere or tension...

Cybermen were great, though... Certainly bears the moonboots and gardening gloves sprayed silver (And the tennis balls on the shoulder.)

They deserve a better story than this...

The story ranks alongside Silver Nemesis as being the worst Cybermen story ever. In fact it's difficult for me to decide which one was better.
