Who Cruise IMPORTANT Reminder

An important reminder for anyone wanting to go on this year's Sci-Fi Sea
Cruise in December is that we are now less than 10 days away from the
scheduled end of the early booking discount on memberships. If you plan to
go, you'll need to make your reservations and get at least a deposit paid
before 9 February 2006 if you want to be guaranteed our lowest membership
rate.
Even if you are not yet 100% sure, but you think you might go, you should
still get the reservation in NOW, because you can still get a full refund of
all cruise line charges later on if you cancel before 25 September 2006.
In the mean time, the more cabins we have either paid or under deposit
BEFORE 9 February, the more total cabins we can hang onto in our room block,
the longer we can keep them available for fans to book, and the less it will
cost us to do so, all of which helps us to make a better event for everyone.
It could make the difference in being able to afford additional celebrity
guests later on down the line.
We may also be able to extend the early booking deadline a bit further if we
can show enough cabins booked by the current deadline, something that I'd
REALLY like to do, what with the annual Gallifrey convention later on in
February, and with the greater awareness of Doctor Who in America that is
bound to follow the premiere of the new series episodes on The Sci-Fi
Channel in mid March.
So call our official travel agent Sam at Peter Berlin's Travel Center, toll
free in the USA at 800-874-6040 (or outside of the USA at 954-974-6040) or
online at sam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and get your reservations in ASAP while
they will do the most good. Our group has a bad habit of lots of people
waiting till the last minute to reserve, and that DOES hurt us, so let's try
and turn that around this year!
And by the way, the new video from last year's cruise with Carole Ann Ford
and Verity Lambert is just about done, and it's looking good! Don't miss
it's public premiere at the Gallifrey One convention in Los Angeles the
weekend of 17-19 February, on the Friday night right after opening
ceremonies, if you are able to be there.
Cheers - Dan
