You, sir, are either gay or a liar. I am hetero and I know in my honest
heart of hearts that two fellows kissing or making eyes at each other gives
me the willies. It's part of the psychology. If the revulsion wasn't there
then why would you care if you did or didn't do it yourself? I believe in
moving forward with precision and honesty, and if you want to make real
progress for gays, being dishonest may seem like tempting a way to make
gains in the short run, but it won't work out in the long run. Some women
tried that tactic; they tried to sell the line that ideas of beauty are
socially learned - which fell apart when it was shown that babies will stare
longer at a good looking face and turn away from an unlovely one. It just
made the women who tried to sell that line look ridiculous in the end and
did nothing to address real issues. Humans make this mistake again and
again. They just can't seem to resist the temptation of taking the short
cut.
