Plot and tension

I take it all back (well not entirely - I've seen him do both in other
series) RTD can build up tension and even have an underlying plot whilst
developing characters and having great dialogue and set pieces.
Such a shame even his supporters revile this episode - which Krista and I
both loved when we first saw it.
Yep, I'm watching "The Long Game". And it certainly doesn't pall. I will
forgive AOL/WWIII because they were 2 of the first episodes filmed (Block
One) and everyone was finding their feet. I'm probably about halfway out of
the RTD-sceptic camp now; let's hope he develops his successes and convinces
me to embrace the NuWho vision!
