I think you're overstating things somewhat. He's already spoken about the
differences between aspirations as a fan and the reality of having the
actual acting job. These are tough schedules, as both Tennant and
Eccleston
have already stated, and the latter notably described the experience as
'mixed'. Sure, Tennant's agreed to do series three. But that's all.

I can't help thinking you're projecting your own childhood dreams about
how
great it'd be to be The Doctor.



Yeah, some fans have a tendency to do that. And i've even done it once or
twice about stuff, and reality has been different than my romanticised
expectations of whatever it would've been... It's like meeting your idols -
sometimes they turn out to be complete wankers, and you're just so
disappointed it would've been better never to have met 'em.

Of course, this isn't to say that he definitely
*won't* wake up one morning and think "Oh,
God! Another year of this and I'll be typcast forever!"

Or maybe he'll be knackered, have received better offers, be pissed off at
the latest script to feature Cassandra despite the fact that RTD's the
only
one who likes her...
