Funny, I use phrases like "there's a couple of kids over
there" or "it was a couple of years ago" without any thought
to gender (or, indeed, whether they joined the TARDIS crew at
the same time...)
What about The Odd Couple? Were Klugman and Randall (or Lemmon
and Matthau if you prefer the film) involved in the way that
a certain someone is implying?
