Wasn't Alan's premise explicitly based on extrapolation from the fact
Eccleston had done a lot of films and *never* done a DVD commentary,
rather than any "inside knowledge"?

In any case, what difference does it make? Alan's theory is that he
doesn't do commentaries, yours is that he hates Doctor Who. In both of
these cases, if asked, he'd have said no, so why bring it up?
