"Higher-end GPS" is not $200; it's more like $20,000.
When I said "higher end" on the GPS subject, I meant as far as consumer
models go. As compared to the $99 Wally World specials.
Ah, okay, got it. You were suggesting that Disney trust the lives
of their employees and visitors to *consumer-grade* GPS units.
And btw, high-end consumer-grade GPSrs are more like $600. The $200
units are quite basic. I don't know what "Wally World specials" are,
but $99 won't get you much of a GPSr. It won't be very sensitive,
and will have very rudimentary maps. Models intended for automobiles,
such as the Nuvi line, are even more expensive.
Well, I haven't priced GPS systems to truly know exactly how much, so I
will accept your prices. And higher end consumer modules do have
computer ports, and for the closed circuit of the Disney Monorails, map
qualities are wholly worthless, since there are only three routine paths
they can use.
