You both look so happy. How was dinner at Napa Rose?

It couldn't have been better. We were sitting at the Chef's Counter and halfway through the meal another couple sat down next to us. They were also celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary that day. The food was excellent (as always) and since it was a Tuesday, the Chef had plenty of time to chat with us. In fact, when the couple next to us asked him about a sauce he was making he sprung a pop quiz on me (since I had attended the Napa Rose Cooking School two weeks before). Luckily I passed. :-)
