Good grief! I read that as "11 hour drive" at first!

No, a mere 20 minutes!! But I did hit two red lights!!

noticed when she poured the rum in my mai tai, that there was only a
small amount left in the bottle, and she finished it up, and never opened
another one. There was probably about a half ounce of rum in my drink,
although they do pour a float of dark rum on the top of the mai tai. As
with the gift shop, I got a feeling of a CM who really didn't seem to
care, which is tough to say about a CM, since I'm one too. My wife ended
up with a vodka & grapefruit, which was made with the proper amount. The
total came to $15.50 for the 2 drinks.

And that's the problem - if you are going to pay Disney prices, you expect
Disney service.

That's becoming one of my biggest pet peeves with Disney. The wine and drink
prices are just so out of touch anymore. We would always buy a bottle of
wine with dinner, but why should we pay $50 for an $11 bottle of wine? We
just grab a few glasses now. Same thing with mixed drinks, most are between
$8-$10 now, which might be OK in NYC, but not in Orlando, especially since
you never get a buyback, and they are usually not very strong to boot..

have you ever had mashed cauliflower? Ruby Tuesday makes it and it's
actually very good and a suitable substitute for mashed potatoes. In
fact, properly seasoned, you;d probably think it was mashed potatoes!

That reminds me of the car commercial. If you compare it to something else,
why not get the original? I have not eaten cauliflower since I was a
youngster, and I hope to maintain that streak for quite some time :)

I'd have taken the credit, or at least taken a 50% credit given that maybe
you did enjoy some of the meal. Honestly, the manager probably won't do
anything about Eduardo because he probably can't find a replacement that's
any better. Even though the economy is bad, there is still a very short
supply of good waiters.

There must still be a short supply of good waiters, because he wasn't a good
one!! I don't want them to think we were trying for a freebie so I passed
on the offer. Plus the fact that I'm a CM probably played a part in my
decision. I did enjoy the wine and the duck salad was excellent though
..
I saw that the wasp nest had been removed while we were out. We sat on
the balcony for awhile, enjoying the pleasant evening and the animals on
the savannah.

Had you reported it as a problem?

Yes, on the way out to dinner.

Thanks for the report, Bill!
