I mean I'm just as qualified as our current. He seems to be in it for
the applause and attention - which, when hearing a discussion on that
topic, my son chimed in with, "Hey Dad! That's pretty much why you do
what you do!"

And not to go off on a political rant, here... Oh, come on, the group
needs a nice boost from time to time! So, not to go off on a
political rant, here, but if you think George W. Bush was bad, you are
going to be thinking he was the best, ever, by the time Obama is done
destroying everything we've worked on putting together the last 233
years.

Coincidentally, I spent a couple of hours, today, talking to a person
who is pondering taking a shot at getting Florida's opening Senate
seat in 2010. His reason for running? He figures that Congress is
going to need some good people to pick up the pieces and put them back
together after the populace, far too late, realizes the damage that
Obama is inflicting on our system and demands it be fixed.

And that was no crack-pot conspiracy theorist talking. That was a
very well known and respected business person in the Tampa Bay area.
