After the last few month of enduring family deaths, loss of a long
time (16 years!) job and having to start all over somewhere else (and
all the stress that goes with that), and our 4 year old starting
school (more traumatic for us than him), we have only 35 more days
before we get to go to Disneyworld!
It's been almost a year, the longest gap we've had in awhile, but the
place tickets are bought, the room is booked (at the Pop this year, as
we decided to save some money. That's going to be hard after the BC
last year), and the rental car picked out.
Our babysitter (who's gone with us for the last 5 years) wasn't going
to be able to go, as she took 6 weeks off from her job to go to Europe
to celebrate graduating from college. Suprise! her boss is letting her
squeeze her 40 hours in as few as days as possible. So she won't be
able to spend the whole week with us, but 4 days out of 7 is still
pretty good. She's part of our tradition and we are glad to have her!
Even though I am much more a lurker than a poster, I hope everyone
here knows how much fun it is to read all the trip reports and
advice.
Anyone else going oct 13-20?
31 days for us!
We'll be there from Oct 10 until 20 (leaving that Monday morning) --
however, we're meeting friends from Alabama and Newcastle UK & don't
expect we'll have much time to see other radp'ers..
