Absolutely.  Back in the "day", Disney bought as much land as they
possibly could get their hands on before folks discovered that it was
Disney buying the land.  The land itself is valuable if for nothing more
than real estate speculative value.

But more than that, Disney could do a WIDE variety of things with the
property.  My personal opinion (as stated before) is that they would buy
the property, shut down the parks and do something else with the land.
But they could also relocate rides... they could tear down the parks and
turn the land into rental property to any number of hotel chains and
strike a deal similar to the Swan/Dolphin.  Then they have more rooms
... without the risk of operating more hotel space.

You could also come up with some pretty goofy ideas, too.  They could
use SW as a holding pen for water creatures they want to bring over the
The Seas.... or convert it to a similar place as Discovery Cove (I can't
remember if that's already owned by Disney or not).  Or they could rehab
it into a third waterpark (doubtful, but that's the point of this little
exercise).

But it's location IS interesting... when you take the light rail idea
into consideration.  If they have a place to go with it, they could have
the perfect excuse to offer to build a monorail between the two
locations (and then out to the airport) with government subsidies.  I
don't know all of the history on the rail thing... and I seem to recall
that a mile or something of monorail track is like a $1M... and a rough
estimate using Google Earth shows a straight-line trip with one turn
from the TTC to SeaWorld, down along I-4 of about 7 miles... man, could
you imagine watching the monorail cruise next to you as you drive in,
just like the one between MK and Epcot?  Too cool!

I dunno'... I just like speculating!

Discovery Cove is part of the Sea World of Orlando Complex. I don't
mean to be rude but do some research before trying to offer an
informed opinion. Sea world of Orlando is made up Sea World,Discovery
Cove-where you have a more personal experiance. Like swiming with
dolphins, and Aquatica- the new waterpark along with 2 new hotels they
are building. Like I said earlier razing or even closing this park
along with the other AB parks would cause Disney a publicity and
Financial Headache they don't need.
Disney is not going to buy anything like this in Orlando,Tampa
or Ca. it is redundant. The only park Disney MIGHT buy is williamsburg
but I doubt the parks would be sold individually
