Rodney,

I'm going to give you one :)

Hey, I'll take all I can get! ;-)

As I so often do, I'm always looking at these things as a single
rider.

My points are exactly correct IF you are talking about one person.
You raise other, equally significant points when looking at this with
multiple guests in a room.

As a single traveler, I doubt you could make the numbers for free dining
work over a typical room-only discount.  In fact, for two adults it
might be a toss-up, but it really gets more valuable when you start
getting into a family with a couple of children, especially when one is
over 10 thus paying the adult price for dining.

I wish I knew the poster's actual numbers, so that we all can give
good advice (instead of so much guessing).

I do know she said they have a party of 6, and given that they are
staying at a DVC resort, I am *guessing* they have a 1BR.  But yes, if
she'd post again and let us know what her rate is and what her exact
party makeup is, we could really crunch some numbers.

Next WDW Vacation?
Who knows...

Actually, 6 people could not fit comfortably into a DVC 1-bedroom. The
master bedroom has a king that sleeps 2. The living area has a pullout
that sleeps 2. Adding the second bedroom would provide another queen
bed (2) and pullot (2) for a total of 8. They'd need the 2-BR unless 2
of their 6 was in cribs.
