I was going to suggest that you let her go ahead and get her license.
You said she doesn't have a vehicle so even if she has her license she
has nothing to drive anyway. It's their last bit of independence and
I understand that. Thankfully my mother gave up driving on her own
but still keeps her license. I think it's a pride thing as well. Let
her have her license. It's a small battle to let her win. You want
to win the big one of keeping her from getting behind the wheel so
save your energy for that one! Does that make sense?
