Rodney,
You've lit a small fire under me, and I went back and read some of my
earlier posts. I know I've been coming to this community for advice and
giving it as well for quite sometime. I found out it's been since early
2003! Got me to thinking, when did RADP begin? How many of you are here
since the beginning? It's fun to read the back and forths in some threads,
shows how well people really know each other. I've never been to any of the
meets, but they sound fun, too.
It's a nice family, and I'm glad I've become one of the "cousins"...
Ellen :)

Like a few others, I was around in the RAD days. In fact, my very
first post on USENET was in July 1993 to answer a question that
someone had about Dixie Landings back in the RAD days. The second
thread was a discussion about, of all things, pool hopping and whether
or not it was allowed. Some things never change.

A relative newbie, I began lurking in 1999, I believe. While I hesitate to admit it, I found Ron NG funny, most of the time. :) Paul T was sometimes funny, but the toilet seat thread was a classic. After that he seemed to just get weird, and then Rodney did some digging and found that he (Paul) lived very near me, so then it just got a little creepy from my perspective.

Favorite thread -- Big Gay Rob? I was post 600 in that one, I believe. I miss hearing updates from Dave in Dallas and the adventures of Janie. My favorite radp conversations ever where hearing her hear Disney for the first time after her implant. We've had some golden, special moments (and I'm not talkin' toilet seats here). :)
