Wilderness! <in giant caps>
Wilderness has a great look and feel.
I'll second that
Really good food.
But keep in mind you that anyone can eat at any resort restaurant. We rarely dine at our own resort's restaurant (other than the counter service, which is usually similar everywhere anyhow).
Boat service.
Keep in mind that taking the boat from WL to MK generally takes longer than taking the bus from SSR to MK. Of course riding a boat is generally more fun that a bus.
Cool pool
Other than decor, SSR's pool is pretty much the same as WL's. It does lack the flowing stream, though.
Good bus service
It's not bad. The only problem I had there was the buses tended to make stops at other resorts like FW and GF. Also, because the resort is so far north, it can take a while just in drive time to get to the other parks. Of course there's plenty of traffic around DD and SSR, so it's not like that's really significant.
Great theme
Yeah, you really can't beat the theme of the WL, although I found the inner parts of the resort (hallways and rooms) to be a bit less exciting than the lobby and grounds. I much prefer AKL as its theme is richer and it carries through to the halls and rooms much better.
Overall, you really can't go wrong with either choice. I mean, after all, it *is* a Disney vacation!
