The best way to get your special requests filled is to have them noted omn
your original reservation. You can ask your travel agent or the Disney
reservations folks to do this for you.

2) Going along with the question above, is it in our best interest to
go ahead and make our resort reservations now? Will this better ensure
any requests we have?

Book now ...and let the travel agent monitor your reservation for any
discounts that might be offered. (Disney will NOT do this for you; only a
travel agent.) You really don't have anything to lose and the earlier you
book, the better your choices will be.

3) We were thinking of requesting a fridge in our room and buying
yogurt and cereal to save $$ on going out to breakfast.

Both the moderate and deluxe resorts have complimentary fridges in the rooms
already. You won't have to order one specifically.

Without a car, it's hard to get to a market. Each of the resort gift shops
have a limited number of food items for sale (milk, cereal, donuts, juice,
etc.) so you might be able to make do with what you can find there or at the
food courts, but you can also have groceries delivered to your resort after
your arrival. (There will be a delivery charge and probably a minimum

Another suggestion is to pack an extra suitcase with non-perishables like
cereals, granola bars, trail mix, etc. You can then purchase milk at the
gift shop and use the empty suitcase for your souvenirs (or dirty clothes)
