Wonder how many will buy Ratatouille wine? :-)

If the lable was to REALLY tell me what the wine was made from, I
might go for it. BTW, I happened to see one of the Emeril Live ep's
this week with Patton Oswalt as an in-studio guest for the hour.
Besides the obvious dish, the whole night was French cuisine. Kind of
cool, and very funny to watch the two of them playing off each other.

Broadway Photo sucks. Ask me why.

Oh, man, I am very sorry to read this, since I'm guessing you've had a
personal experience from them. Thankfully I'd had a friend who warned
me about them when I was looking for a big video purchase. I hope you
were able to get out of it without losing your shirt too badly. :(

Very bad experience. *** of a "customer service" manager who
wouldn't give me an RMA for two days. go towww.resellerratings.com
for my whole story. 5% advertised restocking fee turned into 15%.
They have the lowest prices, but that's because they sell gray market
and then play bait&switch when you ask for the manufactorer's
warranty, which pushes them up to or above what other people are
getting. And they flat out lie. Things like "you only get a 20
minute battery" (bull***, it's four hours, assuming it's a Sony).

I found them through a shopping sitewww.shopcartusa.com. They had
glowing reviews. All a crock. I posted a negative review and it was
gone within 24 hours. Shill site.

So we're out $300, call it an education.

That's a shame that you had to lose 300 bucks that way. Though from
some of the stories I've read [and I'm sure you have too], at least
you can kinda say, "It could've been a lot worse".

When I was going to buy a high-caliber camcorder, I was fortunate to
get some good advice from friends and the Internet. Thanks to the 'net
I was pointed to that resellerratings website. The first time I went
there, I think I spent about 3 hours reading the entries under the
places like Broadway. I always wondered how they could claim such low
prices compared to what I knew things went for at Best Buy, Circuit
City, etc... and from that site, I knew why.

On the positive side, my friend told me how his video buying was
almost exclusively from B&H. On a trade show trip to NYC, we made a
visit to the store one afternoon. If you're a video geek, that place
was heavenly! By the time I was buying the camcorder, I was going
between either B&H or J&R Music World [with whom I'd had good buying
experiences in the past]. As it happened, B&H had the camera in stock
for about the same price listing as J&R [who happened to be out of
stock at the time], and threw in a nice Sony bag for nothing. A couple
days later, the UPS Tink handed me my boxes.
