The satellite pics you get when you zoom in tight with weather.com's
new interactive maps, is there any way to tell when they were taken?
I just looked around the MK for the heck of it, and it's a very light
crowd that's shown. I'm thinking no way was that taken since the
start of the summer. I bet it's from several years ago?
Anyways, if anyone's bored, it's always fun to check the weather at
the World, and now the interactive maps add even more!

Okay, I looked up the map for our neighborhood. The house across the
street from us is finished on the map and it was built about 4 years
ago. But they do not have a pool on the map and their pool was built
about a year ago so that narrows down the range.
Different areas have pictures taken at different times. I had to use
another mapping service (and I cannot remember which one now) to
determine some dates on pics I saw on weather.com's map. I live in St.
Louis, and my house's pic was taken in nov. 97, where I work was taken
last February, and Six Flags over mid-america was shot in February of
2005.
It is not possible to take pictures by satellite of the who country in
one day. You'll have to find the same pic on another service and check
the date with that.
