Hi kids,

We are doing a bunch of hot weather trips this year.

I've got a hat, tevas, my camelbak hydration backpack, sunglasses and
sunscreen.

Now, what to do about clothes? I get a lot of stuff from Lands End
but they don't appear to have anything I'm looking for - I want more
like a sports fabric, that can dry quickly and is very light weight.
I am a low-end plus size, so depending on the manufacturer, I might
fit into an XL or XXL, but generally I get a better fit if there are
designated plus sizes.

Has anyone bought stuff from Eddie Bauer or LL Bean, or what about
some of the sports lines at sporting catalogs?

I'm especially concerned about shorts. I've tried to go in denim
shorts before and they weren't very comfortable, and I'm afraid cotton
jersey will be too hot, and will ride up my legs with a lot of
walking.

I would love to hear about your favorite hot weather outfit for hiking
those 12 hour days in the parks! :-)
