What about Janie in the hamster ball? Battery operated and preprogrammed to run into every lamppost and moat.

Speaking of hamster balls (and who isn't nowadays), I saw PotC: Dead Man's Chest yesterday and couldn't help but think of Janie (both when the crew were in the hamsterballs and when Davey Jones' crewman lost his head and walked into a tree <thud>).
