Our local (Birmingham) NBC affiliate aired a report on the death. They went even further with their hype and (incorrectly) reported that MGM was evacuated. In fact, that was their "teaser" for the story, "Stay tuned to find out why a major Central Florida theme park had to be evacuated today." They once mentioned that the *attraction* was evacuated, but then later said "MGM Studios" was evacuated because of the death. And of course they emphasized the how RnRC catapults riders to speeds of 60mph in less than 3 seconds and excerpts forces over 4 G's, blah, blah, blah. Not once did they mention how many *millions* of guests have ridden it with no problems at all.
