Re: Another death at Disney

Think about this: When was the last time you heard a story about a passenger
dying aboard an airplane? It happens, and it happens more often than it
happens at WDW. The airlines don't publish the numbers, but it's expected
that more than 100 passengers per year die aboard airplanes. It's just not
big news because there's nothing sensational about it unless it could
somehow, possibly be construed to be the airlines fault.

Speaking of which....Brian, son of a friend of mine flew to CA a couple
of years ago. Next to him was an elderly man. The man's son was sitting
a few rows behind. Partway into the flight, Brian realized that
something was wrong with the elderly man. He had died. How awful! He
had to go get the man's son and tell him .
And I do agree about the numbers of people at WDW on any given day.
Things are bound to happen and people will die. It's just too bad the
the news just capitalizes on the ride aspect. I got sick on RNRC
myself....but I'm not going to call the local news and tell them it's
an unsafe ride. But I imagine someone, somewhere will.
