A quick ticket question about biometrics.
We (DH, myself, DD9, DS3) are going to WDW next week. We have tickets from
our last trip (2003) with 6 days remaining on them. We also have tickets
from our 2001 trip with a couple plus options left on them. I read in one
of the books that new MYW tickets use biometrics. Am I understanding
correctly that when we take our 2003 tickets to the park next week, we will
have to use the finger scan to use them?
I could be wrong here, but I *think* you'll first have to go to Guest
Services with your old tickets and get them converted to new tickets in
order to use them. Once you have the new tickets, yes you'll have to
use the biometric scanners.
Do the children need to do the finger scan too?
If they're old enough / tall enough, yes. Though the CM may just wave
them on through if they're having problems.
Do they do the finger scan at the waterparks as well?
Yes. The scanners are in use everywhere that accepts the MYW tickets,
including theme parks, water parks, Pleasure Island clubs, and
DisneyQuest..
