I think the Cobb Salad and Grapefruit Cake are from the original. I
don't think the Cobb Salad was on the original, original menu though.
Doesn't the story go something like the chef throwing a bunch of
ingredients together as a last minute, late night snack for someone
important or something...and the rest is history?

I've only eaten at BD/GM once, and it was on my last visit. It
definitely made a positive impression on me...it's now one the places
I'll try not to miss on future visits.
