Well I took your criticism to heart, Peter, that
I myself hadn't done any research in support of my
friend's, so I took five minutes and came up with the
following interesting reference.

One Googled link hardly constitutes "research"

Heh. Well it's more than your sorry (and hypocritical)
ass has come up with.

Now I know you've indicated you're not interested in any real
discussion,

Not at all. I've simply indicated that an "opinion" is fine, but when
presented as a "fact'

Bullshit. You stated that my friend's research
was WRONG, period.

Quite, Huck. It was. There is connection between the "military style" (as
you and your friend put it) music for tangos found in Germany and Hitler
opining that AT music was "sissy". I know that, thus I call it. If the
perosn making the claim (that would be YOU) produces evidence (not one
Googles link and a very thin and useless trail of unconnected opinion) to
support the claim, I change my view. You didn't, I didn't. Is that too
complicated for your tiny mind to grasp?

And you also claimed that your
theory that the Germans have always played militaristic
tango music was correct

I never said that. No where did I claim ANY theory regarding Germans and
"militaristic tango music" (your words I beleive). If I did, simply quote me
and copy and paste the message. If you can't that would make YOU the "liar".

(and then you subsequently
lied and said you didn't have a theory,

No. YOU assumed I had a theory -- or you're so anally-rententive you think
any opinion is a "theory", but that's your problem not mine. Therefore, I
didn't "lie" about anything. I never had a theory so when I said I never had
a theory I didn't lie. Is your brain hurting? Good.

And of course, you have
conveniently exempted yourself from any research
requirements or accountability.

Not at all. I don't claim "X" thus I don't have to prove "X". You did claim
"X" thus you have to prove "X". It's not Rocket Sicence you know.

but "may not be that far from the truth at all" does
not in any way exclude it being the truth.

It may not exclude it (your words, not mine) but it doesn't make it "the
truth". It's somewhere between "a fool's opinion" and "a slight
possibility". Here's a clue for you, Huckleberry, find someone with some
authority (other than some potentially imaginary teacher from your memories)
who has stated the same thing. Find a reference to a speech by Hitler
calling AT music "sissy" -- even "pansy", "effiminate", "queer", or similar
words will do

Heck, even finding a reference to Hitler referring to AT music would be a
start! It's recent enough history, he's been the subject of innumerable
books, articles, documentaries, etc., his opinions, history, motives, and
papers and speeches have been dissected and studied by thousands and
thousands of experts. There must be at least one of them who's mentioned his
expressed opinion on AT music. The absence would seem to indicate your/your
friend's claim is false, or at the least completely unsupported.

By the way, when are you going to present even
one iota of data supporting your treatise that the
Germans have always played militaristic tango music,
Peter?

I won't be because I didn't? Comprehension really isn't a strength of yours
is, it Huckleberry? :-)
