Re: DWTS - George Hamilton gone

There is no social grace in demanding that a poster follow
some arcane guideline so the reader can have convenience,
especially when the poster had no ill-intent.

"With no ill intent" doesn't change the fact that shouting the out come of a
"who done it" is rude and inconsiderate. What venue it is does not change
that fact and it doesn't matter if you are posting who killed JR in the
Dallas cliff hanger, or revealing Darth Vader's ID to someone on their way
to "The Empire Strikes Back".

Many headers could have been substituted such as "What Did You Think Of
Tonight's DWTS Eviction?", and then anyone that wanted to participate could.
Headers are to reveal what the post is about, but it does NOT need to reveal
ALL of the material. I don't always use ADV when I am making an
announcement, however my header does ID what the subject is, so that those
with an interest can open it, or not.

It was amusing to read someone in this thread mention "common courtesy" and
in truth, courtesy is NOT very common these days, and that is a rather sad
fact. If it isn't a huge inconvenience, why not be polite, why not be
caring, why not think of others on occasion?
