I've never watched the show, but I am under the impression that "I'm
Sorry, You're Out" is what Heidi Klum (the show's host?) says to the
contestant eliminated each week, the way Donald Trump says "You're
Fired!" to losing contestants on The Apprentice.

My daughter watches it religiously, so I've caught a few endings. She
pauses for what I'm sure she thinks is a dramatic interval, but in
fact is a comically long one, between "<name>" and "you're [out|in]."
That's what the comic is ripping on: the pause.
