I know there are some old geezers
here that were old enough to buy and enjoy the
underground comix of the late 60s and early 70s.
Tom Spurgeon interviews the author of Rebel Visions:
The Underground Comix Revolution 1963 -1975 over at:

(Warning the images accompanying the interview may
not be safe for work or children.)
I never got that hardback coffee table version of a few
years ago, but I think I'm going to get this new paperback edition.
Remember there are now going to be two paperback versions
and you want the new and improved (read Revised and Expanded)
edition which will be available May 30th according to Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Rebel-Visions-Underground-Revolution-1963-1975/dp/156097706X
In the meantime, to jog your memory, here's a page that
has hundreds of comix covers; and this is not of the
"may not be safe" variety but of the DEFINITELY NOT
SAFE FOR WORK OR CHILDREN sort.

And you're going to have to scroll past a number of repetitions.
