Sure. And I'm willing to admit to stretching things just a bit.
Maybe the intent was to throw some mud on both campaigns; one for being
short on details and long on inspiration while the reverse is true for
the other campaign.
Maybe Mr. Trudeau really is a closet Republican that is voting for Mr.
McCain next fall. I doubt it, but anything is possible.
I interpret it as suggesting a preference for symbolism over substance.
Irony abounds given the candidates in question this time around as well
as one of their spouses.
