Jumpstart (1-30 and this week)



As much as this appears to be an analogy for homosexuality (which
would work too), there really is a belief that left-handed-ness is
evil. In a parochial school in Spain in 1983, my left-handed sister
was forced to sit on her left hand when she was seen using it to
write, and force to use her right hand; needless to say, when my
parents heard this, they pulled her right out. I'm sure it's a tiny
minority that still hangs on to this craziness, but considering the
large number of people that somehow stick to creationism . . .:
