Son of a bitch. This, along with the demise of "Big Top," is fairly
conclusive proof that comics editors nationwide have their heads up
their asses. Clever, promising new work just can't take off because
of the sheer inertia of all those stale features. "Lucky Cow" can't
succeed ... and "Cathy" thrives. What a world.
And, yes, Mark Pet was once an editorial cartoonist in Salt Lake City.
