Drawing Conclusions -- a particularly fine week

I just really like both cartoons this week -- on the topic of the
ceasefire in Lebanon. I looked at a bunch of same-old same-olds and
then came across these two and, aside from liking them each, I liked
the way they fit together. Oliver, from der Standard of Vienna, and
Kichka of Telad, Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Nellie goes to Zimbabwe, where you used to be able to buy a
loaf of bread for a million dollars, but now it only costs a thousand.
Explaining cascading inflation in a limited space is quite a challenge,
especially when you could use the entire feature just listing the ways
in which Robert Mugabe is an @ssh01e. (Yeah, thank god I'm not a real
journalist, eh? Hard to be neutral with this guy.)

It was such a challenge that I let through a whopping typo in the head.
Caught it for the print edition but the web version won't be corrected
until tomorrow. Ah well, Homer nods.

And Bart snickers.
