From snoopy.com:
2006 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Halloween classic, "It's the
Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." To celebrate this milestone in TV and
Peanuts history, Snoopy.com is hosting an essay contest for Peanuts
fans with the worst Halloween stories ever... tales that can rival
Charlie Brown's woeful lament, "I got a rock," or Linus and Sally's
disappointing wait for the Great Pumpkin in the pumpkin patch!

I've got two bad ones.
-A friend dressed up as a gorilla. I didn't see him arrive at the
party. He would come over next to me and breath rather heavily in my
direction, but he didn't make any other noise so I couldn't figure out
who it was.
He spent most of the night breathing heavily in my direction. I spent
the entire party really freaked out. Not fun at all.
-Many years later, it was colder than....well...it was cold. We lived
out in the country so I had to drive the kids from house to house. They
didn't look too hot when we started and my daughter worst of all.
After about a dozen houses, she spewed vomit like an overpressurized
super soaker. And they hadn't even eaten any candy.
