Has anyone ever seen an actual ceiling fan with multiple decorative

The ceiling fan in my bedroom has two pull-chains hanging right next
to each other; one controls the light, the other controls the fan
speed. They never tinkle into each other, or the little flowery glass
light covers, because the fan is stable and balanced.
Ah. This possibility (imbalance / poor mounting -> vibration ->
excessive chain motion -> contact causing noise) hadn't occurred to
me. I assumed that the chains were (incompetently) placed where normal
fan-driven airflow could cause them to swing.
