So Dad is thumbing his nose at stupid, intrusive laws that crush
individual liberty in the service of ill-defined public "safety" and
"order"? Hey, I guess he really *did* remember the point of the
Fourth after all!

Also, keep in mind that some things the DOT classifies as "fireworks"
are still legal even in nanny states like the ones found in the
northeast. Sparklers, e.g.

Nope. Banned in a lot of places.
