To reiterate: George claims the Earth and all the universe are

goatherds make these claims, as recorded in the Christian Bible.
I believe you mean Bronze Age. George is still taking an
indefensible position, of course.
Peter is refering to the age of the culture, not the floods, of
course. It's close--Iron was in wide use in the middle east by
1200BCE, which is also around the time claimed by some for the
Exodus from Egypt. What does the Torah have to say about iron and
bronze tools?
And Zillah, too, gave birth to Tubal-Cain, forger of every
implement of bronze and iron. [Gen 4:22]
That's the J source, written somewhere between 928 BC (the beginning
of the divided monarchy) and 722 BC (the fall of the northern
kingdom), well into the iron age. The exodus itself (if historical)
would seem to have been late bronze age or perhaps a bit later.
There are eleven references to iron in the Torah proper: one in
Genesis, one in Leviticus, two in Numbers, and seven in Deuteronomy.
There are about sixty others in the rest of the Hebrew Bible.
