I believe you mean Bronze Age. George is still taking an indefensible
position, of course.

Peter is refering to the age of the culture, not the floods, of course.
It's close--Iron was in wide use in the middle east by 1200BCE, which
is also around the time claimed by some for the Exodus from Egypt.
What does the Torah have to say about iron and bronze tools?
