OT: Connectivity issues?

I'm having some weird trouble today, and I just need to figure out if it's
only my computer or if everyone is experiencing difficulty connecting to
certain websites.

I mentioned earlier that my domain name provider, which is physically
located in Singapore, is not responding today... my family website is
down, our email server is down, and all of vmdomain.com is down - yet I
was able to get to www.vmdomain.com for a couple of hours this morning.

Also, freshmeat.net is not responding, nor is the MSN instant message
server that my boss likes to use because email and phone calls are just
too darn slow.

And, Ronniecat, I can't reach RMBA either.

Yet other locations, such as my ISP's website and email server, this
Usenet host (also run by my ISP via supernews, I think), CNN, and (thank
God!) my employer's VPN in Dallas all work just fine. That makes it seem
like certain backbones are brokebackbones (sorry!) while others are still
functional.

So - is anyone else unable to reach some specific Internet locations
today, or is my ISP out to get me?

If you must reply by email, you can reach me by placing zeroes
